With over a foot of new snow Wednesday afternoon it looks like several more snow days are in front of us this week. The lake level was 2 feet 6 inches from full as of yesterday morning and I'll guess we'll reach the full point at 5,106.7 feet in elevation sooner this season than most. Bring tire chains, extra time and drive carefully.

• Tomorrow: Periods of snow, heavy at times, along with gusty winds. Cold. Temps nearly steady in the low to mid 30s. Winds WSW at 20 to 30 mph. 5 to 8 inches of snow expected.
• Tomorrow night: Snow in the evening will transition to snow showers overnight. Low 29F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 70%. Some snow accumulation possible.
• Saturday: Snow showers in the morning. Highs in the upper 30s and lows in the low 20s.
• Sunday: Mainly sunny. Highs in the mid 40s and lows in the upper 20s.
• Monday: Partly cloudy. Highs in the mid 40s and lows in the low 30s.
