It's a snowy Monday - President's Day, after a long and beautiful weekend, allowing us time to reflect on the current market conditions and the fear factor some of our buyers are experiencing.

Another good snow storm last night with much more in the forecast. Will Mother Nature fill Lake Arrowhead early this year? We're on course to do just that, a full lake by early year.

Tuesday was a picture perfect day with bright blue skies and warmer temps.  A couple of my younger colleagues (much younger) Woody and Nathan took advantage of the spring-like conditions to hit the slopes 7 miles up the road at Running Spring's Snow Valley.  

Their timing was key; no crowds, easy access, pleasant temperatures, discounted tickets, making for a brilliant day on the slopes. But conditions will change (see forecasts below) just as our local real estate market will change.

Today we have fewer buyers viewing a larger supply of homes producing less competition, a relaxed environment with lower prices. That sounds like perfect timing to me!
