BIG FISH
Hamiltair's Labor Day Weekend Offered a Trout Fishing Event with Trophies for All!
Sponsored by the Hamiltair Homeowners including Hank Guarienti, John Veysey and the many folks that care about living within a community of camaraderie and fun; the Hamiltair Beach Club was crawling with no less than 40 children, ages 3 to 12, who were on a quest to catch the biggest fish!
From 9 am to 3 pm the tournament took on a personality of its own. Watching all the little ones running back and forth with so much excitement was just amazing! They even had a snack bar set up and stuffed animals for sale. They were enterprising and mingling just like their moms and dads.
At 4 pm each child received a handsome wooden plaque inscribed with Hamiltair's First Annual Fishing Tournament, all made and donated by Harry Johnson-There were also best and biggest categories-but they were all winners and you could tell by the smiles on their faces. It was a wonderful opportunity for the Hamiltair residents, their children and grandchildren to share a special day with family and friends. I loved watching the joy and enthusiasm that a community can create with just a bit of fish!
